Looks very much like spam to me. Why would they ever need to know what your job is? Also, internet companies would never ask for your username or password.
Also, notice the poor grammar:
"Yahoo! [would] —-(this should be will, not ‘would’) be shutting down all unused accounts"
"Please FILL IN all requested information[s] —(should not be plural)"
Also, the bottom disclaimer does not make any sense in context to the e-mail; after all, this isn’t a survey.

That is a Phishing attempt to get your personal information, as you suspected. While you are viewing it, switch your "mode" to view "full headers" then forward it to:

have u not used ur account for more than 04 months’ in yahoo this is the time after which ur account automatically closes. if u have been using ur account regularly yahoo cant cut it off. this is purely a case of PHISING dont entertain this mark as spam and never answer.
the sender have tried to be authentic by being honest that ur data will be managed by third party. yahoo will never accept it outright because if it do no body will give the data as a layman also know that for any third party action done in USA anybody sitting outside USA cant do anything. so yahoo will never accept that he is giving ur data to third party.( business rule)
make a rough idea more longer any mail more is the chances of being fake..as truth never need explanations

This is very old way ( now seems stupid) to fool anyone to get your password.
Remember ANY WEBSITE never asks for your password, if they really need it they already have it.
Most of the time the user makes his id similar to "Yahoo Account" or "Yahoo mail administrator" or something like that.
Don’t reply to the mail just look at the headers and report it to yahoo.
